The players' uniforms must meet specific requirements to ensure uniformity, safety, and compliance with league rules in a official softball game. Here are the basic requirements to advise for you:
1.Team uniforms-All of players in the same team have to wear same uniforms include softball jersey, softball pants, softball shorts, softball socks and softball caps, the color theme and style should of your team be unified.
So we suggest you find a designer to create theme or extract idea from your logo to finalize your mock up.
2.Jersey Numbers- Each player should show a unique number on the back softball jersey to identify, we don't suggest you use duplicate number in one team in case of confusion. Certainly, it doesn't have to be a number or print number for training team jerseys.
3.Appropriate Footwear- The players must wear softball-appropriate shoes or cleats.
4.Pitcher-Specific Rules – To prevent distractions for batters, pitchers are usually prohibited from wearing white or light-coloured sleeves or gloves, as these color will mix with softball, you can choose some dark color, usually it is black or brown gloves.
5.Protective Gear – Catchers must wear helmet, face mask, chest protector, and shin guards. Other players could wear sliding pads or face guards. The equipment will protect yourself in the fierce game to resist 60% damage.
6.Headwear- You must wear a team caps or visors to protect your face in some degree.
